-Fr. G.K.M.H.S established on sixth july 1982. It had been a life long desire of late Rev.Fr.George Kizhakkachalil to have a High School in the heart of the mananthavady panchayath. He was called back by his creator on 19th September 1979. Shortly afterwards, Rev.Fr.James Kulathinal who had been his constant companion decided to take out the heavy responsibility of starting a school here. The school,which is 2km from the Mananthavady town. In the biginning of the school fuctioned in kaniyaram cathedral church with 105 pupils in 3 divisions and 6 staff. Consequently for the first 3 batches, the children of Fr.G.K.M.H.S secured 100% of result in SSLC examination 27 bacthes of pupils have gone out biginning honour and glory to this mighty institution.The first Head Mistress was Sr.A.J. Mary of this school.
